Nico Santi graduated from York University in 1993 with a specialized degree in international political science and military strategy. Upon graduation from York University, Nico was employed by an international bank as a foreign currency trader. Subsequently, he was an executive for a national airline before attending law school. During law school, Nico served as an international admissions ambassador for Western Michigan Thomas M. Cooley Law School and completed a judicial clerkship with the Honorable H. David Soet in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
In 1999, Nico earned his Juris Doctorate from Western Michigan Thomas M. Cooley Law School. He was admitted to the Florida Bar the same year. Upon graduation from law school, Nico pursued his interest in criminal and constitutional law and became an assistant state attorney for the 12th Judicial Circuit for Sarasota County, Florida. In 2001, Nico went into private practice, focusing his efforts in the area of family, criminal, and civil litigation. Nico has also been on both sides of criminal litigation, first as an assistant state attorney and subsequently as a criminal defense attorney. Additionally, Nico has extensive knowledge and experience in dealing with intricate and complex divorce cases, child custody disputes, and civil litigation. Nico has also represented many clients at the appellate case level.
Nico prides himself with representing people from all walks of life from professional athletes, corporate executives, medical and legal professionals, to international clients and the less fortunate in society. MICHELE SANTI, J.D.
Of Counsel Appellate Attorney
Michele Santi obtained her Bachelor’s degree from The University of Tampa in 1993. She earned her Juris Doctorate in law from Western Michigan Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1999, and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2000.
After law school, Michele became the acting attorney for the State of Florida Department of Revenue Child Support Enforcement for Sarasota County, Florida. During her time at the Department of Revenue, Michele handled cases involving a wide range of issues relating to the establishment and enforcement of Title IV-D and Non-Title IV-D child support issues on behalf of the State of Florida.
In 2002, Michele became a private practice attorney focusing on family, civil, and appellate law. Michele has represented property appraisers around the State of Florida regarding property tax valuations and ad valorem tax law. Michele was also responsible for handling appellate cases including writing appellate briefs on behalf of various county property appraisers. Michele has the distinction of having her appellate cases taken up and decided by The Florida Supreme Court.
In 2004, Michele went into private practice with The Santi Law Firm, P.A as an appellate attorney. Since 2004, Michele has continued to focus on civil law cases with a main focus on research, writing, and appellate law issues. Michele has handled numerous appeals throughout her career and her experience can be an asset for you.

The Santi Law Firm P.A. is conveniently located on Fruitville Road in downtown Sarasota, Florida.
From I-75 South, take exit 210 going west on Fruitville Road. Use the right 3 lanes to turn right onto FL-780/west Fruitville Road (signs for Sarasota/St. Armand’s/ Mote Aquarium/Gulf Beaches). Continue traveling toward St. Armand’s/Sarasota Beaches for approximately 6 1/2 miles. At Coconut Avenue, make a U turn onto Fruitville Road. Travel on Fruitville Road approximately 3/4 of a mile until you reach the Fruitville Professional Villas located at 1358 Fruitville Road.
Our office is across from the Selby Library and 1/2 mile from the Ritz-Carlton of Sarasota and Marina Jacks on Sarasota’s Bay Front. We are situated just three miles from beautiful Lido Beach and St. Armand’s Circle.
